Spent a week at Casa Aneila January 2017. The place was lovely, spacious and comfortable. It was as beautiful as the pictures portrayed…hmmm maybe even more. It was quiet which was perfect (one of us was just finishing her last MBA assignment) but close enough to town so that when town activity was required…a 15 minute walk or a 5minute cab ride was all it took.
The place lacked for nothing, from abundant towels and beach chairs, to a fully equipped kitchen.
Did I mention that it was perfect for sunset?
I would gladly stay there again!

Stayed here for a week in September. The views from the balconies alone are worth the price of admission. Sunsets are to die for, and the balconies are the perfect location for relaxing, eating, drinking and hanging out.
The house itself is huge with every modern amenity possible. The kitchen is large and can accommodate any and all regular cooking — breakfast to dinner to anything in between.
The house is right off the beach and a five minute cab ride away from downtown.
It’s like renting a villa. Absolutely would recommend.

My wife and I recently visited Casa Aneila for 6 days, and once again, everything was perfect. This was our 5th stay in the condo. I’ve said it before in past reviews, but I’ll say it again…I can’t imagine staying somewhere else. Puerto Vallarta is a beautiful city, and especially so the Conchas Chinas area. Its amazing how relaxed and at peace Casa Aneila makes us feel. It really is paradise for us. If you are on the fence about booking here…do it…I promise you won’t regret it. And you’ll probably end up coming back multiple times. Melanie has everything covered…all the amenities you might need are already there. The Apple TV this time was a nice new touch. Thanks again Melanie, you know we’ll be back!

Great condo! Beautiful location, quiet, spacious, great views. Two large bedrooms and baths. You can walk to town in 15 minutes. There is a oxxo next door which is very convenient. A short walk to a quiet beach with no vendors.

My daughter and I took a trip to PV for this last Fourth of July, and stayed at Casa Anelia. The condo was perfect for our needs and I loved the pool area, I also liked that there are only 10 units which makes it quaint and very secluded! The condo was nicely appointed and had nice firm mattresses which I love. The couch in the family room is amazing, so cozy to curl up
And watch some Netflix after a busy day!
The location was perfect, we walked into town a couple of times and took cabs when we were In a hurry or all dressed up.
We went snorkeling, zip lines, and wet to this cute beach town called Boca.
We did cook at home a few nites, and the kitchen had it all to make our

Spending a week at Casa Aneila in January has been a real treat – escaping the cold, wet and windy UK weather into 27 degree celcius temperatures was fabulous. Casa Aneila is ideally situated close to Conchas Chinas beach and walkable to Old Puerta Vallarta, although cabs are readily available if you don’t fancy the walk. Spacious and stylish accommodation with a homely atmosphere and all you need even if you fancy a night in. I’ll be back.

We spent 7 days at Casa Aneila. I was surprised when we walked in,the place was so spacious and very attractive. From one of the balconies we coudl see Los Arcos Rock and the south part of Banderas bay;absolutely beautiful. I thought the pool was beautiful and we even saw a few Iguanas roaming around. There is a cobblestone path leading to the beach down below;lot’s of rock formations and inviting pools of clear water. There is an Oxo store directly next door, makes it very convient for buying water, ice, cold beer and other stuff. The best restaurant’s in my opinion are in the Los Muerto Beach area,Cafe de la Olla,La Piazzetta,Coco’s kitchen,Daquiri Dicks,Hacienda Aleman-Germen food, and all kind’s of other food on Basilio Badillo. There are usuallly cab’s parked in front of the Oxo store, town is only a 3 or 4 minute ride, cost around 50 or 60 pesos, very inexpensive. If you want to call for a cab just pick up the condo phone and dial 22-15368,a cab usually arrives in 1 or 2 minutes. We enjoyed the quietness of the condominium complex, very relaxing. I would definitely rent Casa Anelia again,Melanie is a delight to talk with. Henry & Clay-San Francisco,Calfornia. July 16, 2014

We recently returned from our fourth trip to Casa Aneila. It’s safe to say we are officially “hooked”. My wife and I joked when we arrived this time…”Home sweet home.” It really has become like a second home for us. So much of our vacation consists of just hanging out in the condo, or down by the pool. Casa Aneila has become the destination, although we still love PV as well. Melaine makes the reservation process very simple, the management company does a great job attending to needs when requested, and the maid/groundkeeper are so good at their job, you hard notice they are there, yet everything at the property is always clean and well-kept. The pool is a salt-water pool, which is nice, and there is now wifi available at the pool. I’m sure we’ll be back again soon!

I could not have had a better stay than at Casa Anelia!
The location is perfection, so close u can walk (or grab a quick cab) to town. It is further away from the main hotels so u receive a much more local experience which was a huge plus in my book!
The place itself is absolutely fabulous. Granite countertops, nice comfy beds, beautiful tiling, and lovely decorating of course. I honestly do not know what I was expecting but I was completely blown away when I walked through those doors. And the facility employees were also very sweet.
Melanie you are a saint and the girls and I appreciated everything u have done for us! Thank u again for this experience, we owe u a huge debt of gratitude!!!

Casa Aneila is the absolute best way to experience Puerto Vallarta. I have stayed in the hotel zone and nothing compares to this beautiful oceanfront condo. Spectacular views, minutes from the beach and the comfort of your own space. Waking up and having my coffee on the balcony, taking in the views was the highlight of each morning! And the sunsets at night are gorgeous.
I’m spoiled now, and don’t think I could stay anywhere else in PV. Thank you Melanie for an amazing stay!

Spring time means one thing for me…a getaway to my favorite retreat, Casa Aneila.
This oasis has all the creature comforts of home, with the clean fresh decor of a five star hotel. With a balcony featured in every bedroom, it is no surprise many nights and days were spent outside watching sunsets.
I love cooking in the beautiful kitchen, lounging on the HUGE comfy couch, and sleeping in what seems to be the biggest bed in the world, all while listening to the waves crash and rock me to sleep.
Casa Aneila also has a beautiful salt water pool, lounge chairs, gym, movies to watch, books, and a steam room! Perfect for those lazy days in:-)
Just a short walk away is the perfect beach where you can get everything from a temporary tattoo to camarones and lime right on the sand. It also doesn’t hurt there is an Oxxo (local store) right around the corner! Beer, ice cream, or snacks anyone?
A five peso cab ride (around 3 US dollars) takes you to the heart of Puerto Vallarta. This city offers some of the best shopping, night life, and fine dining the great county of Mexico has to offer.
Every day spent at Casa Aneila has been simply blissful. Some of my most cherished memories take place in these four walls, and holds a special place in my heart.

My girlfiends & I just returned to AB Canada from a 4 day stay at Casa Anelia. We are all in agreement that the condo, staff, location, building amenities, pool area, view & property management are superb.
Higher priced than comparable rentals, but location makes up for it.
We highly recommend Casa Anelia!
The owner, Melanie, was also a pleasure to work with.

I have been staying at Casa Aneila for 5 years. It is a transporting experience. The Bay views are spectacular. There is a special charm to the condominium unit and pool area. It’s proximity to town is a big plus.
I enjoy walking along the back roads , beachside, into town. I would highly recommend it to any friend. Last, but not least, Melanie is delightful to work with.
Thank you for the special vacation experience.

Simply heaven! Everything about your place is perfect. We lacked for nothing and had everything!! The rooms, the view, the necessities, the ambiance, the terraces, the space, the large screen tv, the gorgeous pool, the beach/es near-by, th OXXO (like a 711) right at your door step, like i said everything you could need or want. Then there are the surroundings: the beaches, the places to visit, the restaurants, the bars, the shows, and more. You can be busy every night doing things away from the villa, or cook in and play a hot game of canasta!! We highly recommend a one day trip to Sayulita, should you want to spend a day away from the area. Our friends Cassie & Elliot Krauss, and my husband and I look forward to returning for two weeks every year!!

Ahhh is all I can say. My husband and I are return customers of Casa Anelia. We spent a week in mid January this year and the weather could not have been more perfect. As usual the accommodations are of the best quality supplying guests with the ambiance of total relaxation. The unit is large enough for two couple to still maintain privacy yet open enough to have an amazing time. The views, the pool, the services, and the location are all impeccable and down right dreamy. I will be happy to recommend this property highly. Thanks Melanie

Just got back from Casa Aneilia last night. We stayed for 10 days and loved it. This is one of the best locations in PV and probably the nicest complex that would be available to rent. The pictures don’t really do it justice. You can walk the beach into old town, take a taxi for $5, or enjoy the beautiful pool area and grounds. If you’re into renting a car, you actually have your own spot in the garage. Pretty sweet situation. The views are fantastic and the place is roomy and well equipped. The neighbors and staff are friendly. Really ideal. Thanks Melanie.

Ok…so, you all may be tired of reading our comments as we just got back from our 3rd stay at Casa Aneila. Once again…only one word…perfection. We have talked about visiting other parts of Mexico, but every year we go back to PV…why…because of Casa Aneila. We know that no matter where we go, we will never find a place that we LOVE to stay in more than Casa Aneila. Melanie has thought of everything, but yet every time we go back, something else that has been done to make the condo even better. The staff at the property are great…you hardly even notice they are there. The maid (can’t think of her name) is unbelievable! We want to bring her back to clean our house! When we are at Casa Aneila, we are truly in paradise, and we are already looking forward to our next trip…Melanie, stay tuned…I’m sure we’ll be booking again sometime soon.

Beautiful place, and perfect location. I was lucky enough to stay here for eight days and when I first walked in I was blown away. I stayed in the master suite which has a super comfy bed and beautiful bathroom with double sinks and shower/tub that has an ocean view. My favorite part of this condo is all the balcony space with nothing but blue ocean in front of you. Each room has a private balcony and the living room has an outdoor eating area. We stayed in a few nights and watched movies, cooked dinner and relaxed. Other nights we took a short cab ride into town which has a variety of bars and clubs where you can dance the night away! The condo also has a gym and pool which is nice when you need a break from the beach. All in all, I really couldn’t have asked for better accomodations. Casa aneila is truly a slice of paradise.

2/11/12-2/25/12 my husband and i, and our friends, just returned from a wonderful two weeks in pv at casa anelia….we cooked in some nights and had everything we needed at our fingertips…it was just wonderful to dine on the terrace, with the sun setting in the background, drinking wine and listening to music in the background….truly like heaven on earth….the near-by beach serves the purpose of quietly reading, dipping into the water, and just staring out onto the horizon where the sky and water meet, feeling truly at peace….we walked into town (15-20 minute walk) to have lunch at el dirado or la palapa make a reservation) and then used their amenities for the entire day (chairs, umbrellas, towels)…it works out beautifully…the water at los muertos is perfect for enjoying, since it can be entered easily….the pool on the property is wonderful for cooling off or swimming….comfortable lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas to use for games or to bring down lunch poolside….also, peacefully quiet for reading or sleeping…the style of casa anelia with all it’s appointments is stunning, plants abound….you never want to leave once you arrive….we will be back next year for another guaranteed two glorious weeks!….melanie, thank you for having such a perfect spot and keeping it as beautiful as you do!…

This was our 2nd stay at Casa Aneila, and it was truly just as great, if not better, that our first visit. Everything about the condo is perfect…perfect view, perfect location, great amenities, beautifully decorated, and so “homey”. We spent a lot of time just relaxing in the condo and down by the pool (which is beautiful as well). We have recommended Casa Aneila to friends who have stayed and loved it equally (Chad and Trudi Boyd), and we even showed the condo to a couple we met from Seattle who seemed very interested in renting in the future. I’m almost scared to tell anyone else about this hidden gem…it might be harder and harder to get the dates we want, lol. Thanks again Melanie…everything was great. We will be back!

We had a fabulous 9 days at Casa Aneila. This condo is in our favorite part of PV. It’s close to town yet not in the noisy hub-bub. You can walk to the beach or walk right into town.
The condo itself is gorgeous. The rooms are huge, the terraces are big and overlook a wonderful little secluded road with the beach and ocean beyond. The pool and waterfall is beautiful. It is peaceful and quiet. We actually were the only ones at the pool!
This condo and the building it’s in are the best kept secret in Puerto Villarta!

I stayed at Casa Aneila in late May 2010 with two friends. Each of us walked into the condo and were left speechless! For the price per night, you cannot beat Casa Aneila. The condo is a pristine 2BR/2BR sprawling space with a gorgeous terrace overlooking the Conchas Chinas beach. It is located in the ‘Beverly Hills’ of PV, nestled on a hill flanked by the beach. Downtown PV is a short US$5 cab ride away and there is a convenience store right next door for your 24 hour needs.
As for the condo itself, like I mentioned it’s clean, well kept, open, spacious, airy and bright. Melanie has done a great job stocking the condo with all the towels, beach equipment, kitchen utensils and laundry supplies you’ll need. The kitchen is so well stocked, we found plenty of silverware, pans, pots, salt/pepper, cooking spray, wine openers, avocado slicer (!) and so much more.
Needless to say, Casa Aneila is one of the main reasons we loved PV so much; it was the perfect space to come home to after a day of adventure. Highly recommended!

This condo is simply amazing! It has everything you could possibly want, a fully stocked kitchen, satalite television, great air conditioning, you literally have everything you need for a perfect couples or family vacation. The condo is beautiful and the decor is very nice. The views from every room in this place are stunning. You must try to be around for the sunsets because they are the best I have ever experienced. We ate dinner on the beautiful patio several times and watched the amazing array of colors over the horizon. One night, we caught a family of Hump Back whales playing hundreds of feet off the coast from the condo. It was the most amazing experience for us!!! The whales would jump out of the water or slap their tales high in the air for an hour straight. You could hear the screams of amazment from other balconies and the tour boats out in the water. You could not have paid to see a better show, right from the comfort of this amazing condo. It was my first time in PV but I could not imagine staying anywhere else but here. Conchas Chinas is wonderful because it is private and secluded with wonderful beaches but it also is so close to the romantic zone of the city and the Malecon. The beach is an easy walk down stairs in the back by the pool and then down a quaint cobblestone road. Overall we loved this condo so much. It is so roomy and everything is done so nicely. It is a very quality home complete with granite countertops, stone and wood floors, and the bathrooms are first rate. The shower and jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom is something like out of a magazine. Walk along the beach just in front of the condo and take a look at the beautiful homes that are surrounding it. This is the best neighborhood in PV by far. The pool at the condo is amazing as well. I really like the shaded areas with all of the vegitation and the waterfall. And if you are a gym rat, there is a workout room that has everything you need. The grounds of the condo are exquisite as well, all of the tropical plants and the fountain make you feel like you have escaped to a true paradise. I would recomend this condo to anyone who wants to experience the wonders of Puerto Vallarta. This is an awesome city to visit, the food is like no other location and the people are warm and friendly. The best part about PV is that there is so much to do you could never get bored. This condo is the perfect location to explore the wonders of this charming part of Mexico. Thats if you can ever get yourself to leave this amazing condo with its amazing views.

You won’t be sorry for choosing this place. In my opinion, Conchas Chinas is the most lovely area to stay in when visiting Puerto Vallarta. This condo is equipped with absolutely everything. The pool is nice, the view is fantastic, and the beds are comfortable. This is a charming place, and the staff go out of their way to make your stay a good one. A staff member even came over the morning after our arrival to be sure we could connect to the internet. You can walk to town or the ocean, or can summon a taxi by standing right in front of the place. You will love it. The only reason I hesitate to say all the good things about this place is that it might be full when I want to visit again! Enjoy.

Just wanted to say hi and let you know what a wonderful time we had staying at your beautiful apartment.
The weather was glorious and our boys loved the diving. We met some of your neighbors and they recommended some eating places and bars.
Your apartment had absolutely EVERYTHING we needed. I am so envious. We spent lots of time at the pool and walked down to the beach.
Rented a jeep for one day but used taxis the rest of the time which were plentiful and cheap.
If we ever return we would love to stay again and will highly recommend it to all.

We truly enjoyed our two week stay at Casa Aneila. The location was excellent for us. We liked being away from the big hotels and resorts, but close to town for entertainment and restaurants. The views from the patio were beautiful and we enjoyed listening to the surf and watching the boats go by. The beach was very private and the water was pristine. The condominium was nicely decorated and the kitchen was fully equipped. The numerous plants thru out the condo made a tropical setting. It was good having a garage to park the rental car when we returned back to the condo! We were very happy with our stay at Casa Aneila and felt fortunate that we chose your place for our two week stay.

We loved the convenient location too. It’s just a short cab or bus ride into town , yet very private and exclusive.
